Based on specific intelligence about presence of terrorist a Joint search operation was launched by Security forces in higher reaches of Basantgarh under the J/D of P/S Basantgarh of Udh. Exchange of fire has taken place Area cordoned off.Again after Following specific inputs, contact was re-established with terrorists during dusk hours yesterday at Khaned. Cordon remains intact while deliberated searches are being undertaken.
