Two Drug Peddlers Arrested in Gandoh Area with Narcotics
Doda, May 27: A police team from the Gandoh Police Station was conducting a patrolling and vehicle checking duty in the Tipri area of Kahaljugassar Gandoh. During the check, the police noticed two individuals on a motorcycle with registration number JK06-7847, traveling from Kahaljugassar towards Gowari. When asked to stop, both individuals attempted to flee.
The police acted swiftly and apprehended both suspects. They were identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Ali Mohd, resident of Soti Gandoh, and Nissar Ahmed, son of Manwar Din Mir, resident of Soti Tehsil Gandoh. Upon conducting a personal search, a substance resembling cannabis (charas) was found in their possession.
A case, FIR No. 60/2024, under relevant provisions of the NDPS Act, was registered at Gandoh Police Station, and an investigation has been initiated.
