Two Police Officials Found Dead in Udhampur: Suspected case of Fratricide, Suicide
Jammu, Dec 08: Two cops were found dead in a suspected fraticide incident at Zero Morh area in Udhampur district on Sunday. Udhampur police says, “Today PS Rehembal received an info. that 2 policemen from sopore travelling towards STC Talwara in a dept. vehicle have suffered bullet injuries due to firing. Initial investigation reveals that its a case of fratricide & suicide. Further Investigation is underway.
Meanwhile official sources told, that today early morning one vehicle bearing registration number JK05E-4703 driven by constable Manjeet Singh was travelling from Sopore to Talwara Reasi along with two other cops namely Harmeet Singh and Head constable Malik. When the vehicle reached near Kali Mata Mandir Rehambal Udhampur, Head constable Malik shot at constable (driver) Manjeet Singh after some argument and then afterwards shoot himself resulting in the death to both said cops. Meanwhile, police has registered a case in this regard and investigation has been taken up.
