Udhampur Police solved theft case in Ghordi, 03 Accused Arrested
Udhampur Police have solved a theft case of PP Ghordi by arresting 03 accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property from their possession.
On 12/12/2023, Police Post Ghordi received a written complaint from one Ganesh Kumar S/O Suram Chand R/O Sughlar, Tehsil Ramnagar Udhampur stating therein that some unknown thieves have stolen 11 bundles of TMT bars (Saria) from outside of his house in the jurisdiction of PP Ghordi.
In this regard case FIR No. 139/2024 U/S 379 stands registered in PS Ramnagar.
Taking cognizance of the matter, a team of PP Ghordi headed by PSI Yogeshwar Manhotra and assisted by SHO PS Ramnagar Insp Sohan Singh and rounded up few suspects and put to sustained questioning. During which three suspects namely:-
1) Ravi Kumar S/O Uttam Chand R/O Krowa, Udhampur
2) Ashraf Ali S/O Abdul Jalil R/O Mani, Ramnagar
3) Ainsh Din S/O Saif Ali R/O Langa, Barmeen
confessed their involvement in the said case who have been arrested by the Police team.
On the confession of all three accused persons stolen property has been recovered by the police team.
