Vigilance Awareness Workshop Organized by J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau in Collaboration with Transport Department in Samba

Samba, November 06: The J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), in collaboration with the Transport Department, organized a Vigilance Awareness Workshop on combating corruption at the DC Office Complex, Nandani Hills, Samba. The event aimed to foster a culture of integrity and transparency within the public sector, especially in transport and related services.

The workshop was attended by Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Samba, Ramesh Kumar Samotra, ACB Inspector Sudhir, officials from both the Transport and ACB departments, as well as transporters, drivers, and conductors. Additionally, other stakeholders joined the event via video conferencing.

The session included a documentary and PowerPoint presentation designed to provide participants with a thorough understanding of vigilance practices, ethical standards, and anti-corruption measures, especially in public infrastructure projects. This workshop aimed to raise awareness about the roles and responsibilities of each participant in upholding these principles.

The event concluded with all attendees committing to uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, and accountability in their work, thereby promoting a corruption-free environment.
