Battal Sumb, April 27, 2025: Residents of approximately 7-8 villages in the Battal Sumb area are facing hazardous road conditions due to an unpaved road that has been covered with loose gravel for the past two weeks. According to locals, no road roller has been used to compact the gravel, leaving the road uneven,loose and risky for daily commuters.

The road, a critical route for villagers traveling to work, school, and essential services, has become a safety concern. Loose gravel creates slippery conditions, increasing the risk of accidents for motorists and pedestrians alike. Despite its heavy use, authorities have yet to address the issue, leaving commuters to navigate the dangerous terrain at their own peril.

Locals while talking with Samba Times are urging immediate action to properly pave and maintain the road to ensure safe travel for the community. Authorities have not yet responded to the concerns raised by residents.
