Reasi Police along with drug inspector Sh. Vipin kachroo conducted a surprise checking under the operation โ€œ๐—๐—˜๐—˜๐—ฉ๐—”๐—ก๐——๐—”๐—”๐—กโ€ at chemist Shops in Talwara & Seela area and found selling of H1 drugs illegally, which requires prescription from Doctor for selling of H1 drugs.

During inspection of ‘Ajay Medicos’ chemist shop at Zero Morh Talwara, the retailer namely Ajay singh S/O Naseeb Singh R/O Salal Kotli, Tehsil and District- Reasi was unable to provide the record of H1 drugs and also CCTV cameras has not found in his shop. Due to which the shop has been seized/closed under 22 D of drugs and cosmetic act 1940.

Similarly during inspection of ‘Navh Medical Hall’ Chemist shop, at Zero Morh Talwara, the retailer namely Munna Abrol S/O Shashi Pal Abrol R/O Reasi was unable to provide the record of H1 drugs and also CCTV cameras has not found in his shop.

In ‘Satya Medical Hall’ at Seela, Reasi, the retailer namely Sahaj Kumar S/O Munshi Ram R/O Vijayapur, Reasi also selling H1 drugs illegally and did not maintain the record of H1 drugs and CCTV Cameras has not found in his shop.

In this regard, all the three Chemist shops have been seized/closed under 22 D of drugs and cosmetic act 1940.

The whole operation is led by SHO Reasi under the supervision of Dy.SP headquarter Neeraj Padyar-JKPS.

๐— ๐˜€. ๐— ๐—ผ๐—ต๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ ๐—ฆ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—บ๐—ฎ-๐—œ๐—ฃ๐—ฆ Senior Superintendent of Police Reasi while sharing the details conveyed that Reasi Police is working on multipronged strategy to deal with the problem of drug abuse and will leave no stone unturned to curb this menace from the society.

Additionally, medical sale establishments in the area were inspected regarding the sale of medicines with addiction liability. Chemists were urged to maintain proper records of all Schedule H1 medicines as per prescribed norms and to remain vigilant regarding any suspicious activity.
