Samba, May 8: Continuing its drive against illegal mining in the district Samba, J&K Police has seized five dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and Police Station Ghagwal which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
In Police Sub-Division Samba, Police teams headed SHO PS Samba, SHO PS Ghagwal, Incharge Police Post Mansar and Incharge Police Post Rakh Amb Tali, while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, have seized five dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21F-6718, JK14B-9029, JK14C-4612, JK21H-5477 and JK21G-8300 for illegal mining/transportation of construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further action.
