Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan
Samba: April 21, 2026: As part of the ongoing Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, Samba Police today organized an anti-drug awareness rally in Ghagwal to educate the public—especially youth—about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage a drug-free lifestyle.
The rally was led by Addl. SP Samba accompanied by DySP Hqrs Samba and SHO Police Station Ghagwal. It saw enthusiastic participation from a large number of local residents, Civil Society Members, District Civil Administration, youth and police personnel.
The rally began at Narsingh Temple Ghagwal, passed through Main Bazar and concluded at Govt. Degree College Ghagwal. Participants raised anti-drug slogans and carried banners and posters highlighting the dangers of substance abuse.
Addressing the gathering, the Police Officers reaffirmed the commitment of Samba Police to eradicate the drug menace by taking strict legal action against drug traffickers and suppliers. Samba Police appealed to the public to join hands in its Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, launched to build a drug free society.
