Samba: May 14, 2026: In a major crackdown against organized crime and criminal elements, Samba Police under the supervision of SSP Samba, Sh. Anuj Kumar-IPS has achieved a significant success by booking a hardcore gangster, Pritam Singh @ Sethi S/o Mohan Singh R/o Jerda, tehsil Ramgarh district Samba , under the provisions of the Jammu & Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA) for his continues involvement in criminal activities and lodged him in District Jail Bhaderwah.
The accused, who is a member of the infamous Royal Gang , has been involved in a series of serious criminal activities across multiple districts including Samba, Jammu and Kathua. His continuous involvement in violent crimes, unlawful possession of weapons and narcotics-related offences had posed a grave threat to public peace, safety and order.

Despite repeated legal action, the accused continued to indulge in criminal activities, thereby creating fear and insecurity among the general public. Considering his repeated involvement in heinous offences and his threat to maintenance of public order, SSP Samba prepared and submitted dossier & connected documents to the office of District Magistrate Samba.
Accordingly, hardcore gangster Pritam Singh @ Sethi has been detained under PSA and subsequently lodged in District Jail Bhaderwah after obtaining formal detention order from the District Magistrate Samba.
