SAMBA POLICE DEMOLISHED ILLEGAL STRUCTURE RAISED BY NDPS ACCUSED ON STATE LAND
Samba: May 14, 2026: In a significant action against the narcotics network and illegal encroachments, Samba Police in close coordination with the Civil Administration, today carried out a demolition drive at Badheri Nanke Chak tehsil & district Samba.
During the operation, a residential “Kacha Kulla” belonging to a notorious drug peddler namely Abdul Habib @ Bheem S/o Maon Din R/o Ladana tehsil Ramnagar district Udhampur presently residing at Badheri Nanke Chak tehsil & district Samba, constructed over State land was demolished in accordance with law.
It is pertinent to mention here that the accused Abdul Habib @ Bheem S/o Maon Din is a notorious drug peddler and is currently lodged at the Central Jail Kot Bhalwal Jammu under PITNDPS Act. He is involved in multiple cases registered under the NDPS Act, details of which are as under:
- FIR No. 231/2025 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS Samba.
- FIR No. 17/2024 u/s 8/21/22/25/27(a)/29 NDPS Act, 3/25 Arms Act of PS Samba.
- FIR No. 123/2022 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act of PS Samba.
- FIR No. 189/2025 u/s 8/21/29/61/85 NDPS Act of PS Nurpur (Himachal Pradesh).
This decisive action demonstrates the Samba Police’s ongoing commitment to dismantle the drug trade by targeting illegal assets and deterring future offenders.
The operation is part of the ongoing “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan”, which seeks to eradicate drug abuse and trafficking from society.
