Rape accused arrested in Samba

 SAMBA: Under the guidance of SSP Samba, Benam Tosh, Police has nabbed six persons including one who was absconding since July, 28 last year in a rape case registered and proved against him by Investigating Officers of Police Post, Rakh-Amb-Talli and Police Station (PS), Samba.

The apprehended persons have been identified as Manish Sharma, son of Raj Kumar of Bain Samba, Abhishek Atri son of Late Dayal Parshad, Vishal Billowria, son of Surjeet Singh, Anshu Prabhal, son of Ashok Kumar, Neeraj Nagyal, son of Janak Raj and Pankaj Padhwal, son of Ashok Kumar all residents of Samba.

Whereas Manish Sharma is rape accused, the other apprehended persons have been found wandering about and roaming under suspicious circumstances in the Heroin (‘Chitta’)- infested-hotspots and have been nabbed for vagrancy under relevant law.

The arrests were made by the teams headed by in charge Police Post, Rakh-Amb-Talli, SI Ravinder Singh, ASI, Joginder Saini, SI Zakir Hussain, SHO PS, Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria and SHO PS, Samba Rajeshwar Singh under the supervision of SDPO, Vijaypur, Priyanka Kumari.

The raids were carried out in border areas of Samba and in the jurisdiction of Police Station (PS) Vijaypur.
