Jammu, September 19, 2025:In a major breakthrough, Police Station Miran Sahib, Jammu, apprehended an absconder who had been evading arrest for the past 15 years.The accused has been identified as Harjinder Singh, son of Kulwant Singh, resident of Ward No. 1, Simbal Camp, Tehsil RS Pura, District Jammu.He was wanted in connection with a criminal case registered under FIR No. 134/2009 U/S 341/232 IPC and 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Miran Sahib. A warrant under Section 512 CrPC had also been issued against him.Acting on a specific tip-off, a police team from Police Station Miran Sahib, led by Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Azaad Manhas, successfully apprehended the absconder. Following his arrest, the accused was produced before the Hon’ble Court for further legal proceedings.Police have reiterated their commitment to intensify efforts against absconders and bring all offenders to justice.
