Community Mobilization Programme under SAMAGHRA Shiksha organised at Higher Secondary School Sawjian

POONCH, MARCH 16: A Community Mobilization cum sensitization Programme under SAMAGHRA Shiksha was organised at Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian .

The programme was organised by Zonal Education Officer Mandi Mohammad Bashir on the directions of Chief Education Officer Poonch, Bishmber Dass.

The programme was presided over by Anwar Khan Principal Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian. The Programme was attended by the SMC/SMDC members of seven schools of Cluster Sawjian, Sarpanches , Panches , other PRIs,Parents, Prominent citizens and Heads of nearest schools of the cluster Sawjian.

While addressing the gathering, Zonal Education Officer Mandi Mohd Bashir highlighted the role of community in attaining the goal of quality education.

Anwar Khan Principal Model Higher Secondary School Sawjian in his presidential address discussed the various initiatives of SAMAGHRA SHIKSHA.

He also elaborated the role and responsibilities of School Management Committee. Plantation Drive was also held on the occasion.

Certificates were also given to 22 students of higher secondary school Sawjian who had participated in Voters Awareness.
