District Ramban records a strong voter turnout of 62.44% despite rainfall. 136,825 out of 219,124 votes were caster. AC-54 Ramban saw 66.7% participation, while Banihal recorded 59.1%. DEO Ramban, Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary informed that Strong Rooms will be established in case of emergency/ breakdown of connecting road, at respective polling stations as per the SOPs of ECI. He also praised all voters and officials for ensuring a smooth electoral process amidst challenging conditions.
