DRUG PEDDLER ARRESTED WITH 7 GRAMS HEROIN: 2 SHARP EDGED WEAPONS RECOVERED
Samba, May 12: Police has arrested a drug peddler with approximately seven grams heroin like substance in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vijaypur and recovered two sharp edges weapons from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Vijaypur during vehicle checking at naka established near Zamindhara Dhaba, intercepted a Swift Car bearing Regd. No. JK02AL- 4005 which was coming from Bishnah side towards Vijaypur for its checking.
During checking, police has recovered approximately seven grams of heroin like substance and two sharp edged weapons (Toka) from the possession of the driver.
The accused person identified as Raman Bali S/o Sanjay Kumar Bali R/o Mehmoodpur Tehsil Bishnah District Jammu has been arrested.
A case FIR No. 65/2024 u/s 8/21/22/60 NDPS Act, 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at PS Vijaypur. Further Investigation of the case is going on.
