Flag Hoisting ceremony of 108-kund Maha Vishnu Yagna was held yesterday at the Shri Narsingh Dham Temple, Sumb. A large number of devotees and pilgrims, including MLA Surjit Singh Salathia, were present on this auspicious occasion.
The flag hoisting ceremony was held by MLA Surjit Singh Slathia amid chanting of mantras and Vedic rituals, and a large number of people participated enthusiastically. Before flag hoisting special Puja offered to the deities for their benevolence & for their blessings for the completion of this Yagna without any interruption. DDC Balwan Singh, former Mandal President Balwinder Singh, Kumar Singh, Mandal President Davinder Singh Tikku, Sarpanch Ranjit Singh, Surya Prakash Verma, and Youth for Society Chairman Advocate Rahul Sambyal & Chowky Officer Balbir Kumar were also present & participated in the Puja.
A large number of devotees are expected to attend this Maha Vishnu Yagna which is going to start in the month of December & to be presided over by Mahant Manoj Das Ji. The religious atmosphere at today’s ceremony was emotional. Devotees enthusiastically participated in the event, chanting the praises of Lord Mahavishnu and Lord Mahavir.
Specially prepared by ‘Sabha quintal Laddu’ were offered to the deity, which was a special feature of the occasion.
