J&K Government Terminates Four Employees for Anti-National Activities

Srinagar, June 8 – The Jammu and Kashmir government has terminated the services of four employees, including two police constables, a teacher, and a Jal Shakti department employee, due to their alleged involvement in anti-national and terror-related activities. The terminations were carried out under sub-clause (c) of the proviso to clause (2) of Article 311 of the Constitution of India.

The individuals dismissed are:

  1. Mr. Abdul Rehman Dar, Selection Grade Constable in the Police Department, son of Sona Ullah Dar, residing at Larmooh, Tral, District Pulwama.
  2. Mr. Anayatullah Shah Pirzada, Assistant Lineman in the Jal Shakti Department, son of Ab. Rashid Shah Pirzada, residing at Watergam, Rafiabad, District Baramulla.
  3. Mr. Shabeer Ahmad Wani, Teacher in the Education Department, son of Mohammad Ashraf Wani, residing at Bungam, Damhal Hanjipora.
  4. Mr. Gh. Rasool Bhat, Constable in the J&K Police, son of Jawaid Hyder Bhat, residing at Lalgam, Tral, District Pulwama.

The government’s action is part of a broader initiative to ensure national security and maintain the integrity of state institutions by removing individuals linked to activities deemed detrimental to the nation’s interests.
