J&K POLICE ARRESTS LADY DRUG PEDDLER WITH 71.24 GRAMS OF HEROIN LIKE SUBSTANCE
Samba, April 26: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/suppliers, J&K Police has arrested a lady drug peddler in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and has recovered approximately 71.24 grams heroin like substance from her possession.
A Police team of Police Station Samba accompanied by SST team during vehicle checking at a joint static naka laid near SIDCO Chowk Samba, intercepted a bus bearing registration No. AR20-9645 which was coming from Punjab enroute Jammu for checking. During checking, one lady passenger seemed suspicious who was frisked by lady police official and consequently recovery of 71.24 grams(approx.) heroin like substance from her possession was affected.
The accused lady heroin supplier was later identified as Palvi Kunsla w/o Vishal Kunsla R/o Amritsar, Punjab A/P Bhagwati Nagar, District Jammu was arrested and contraband item was also seized.
A case FIR No. 115/2024 u/s 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation has been started to ascertain the further linkages.
