KATHUA; 12 DEC: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Ms. Mohita Sharma IPS has seized a total of 02 vehicles i.e (02 Tractor alongwith Trolleys ) in the jurisdictional area of P/S Billawar which were being used for illegal mining/transportation of the construction material (Without A Form).
On 12/12/2025 police team led by SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq under the guidance of SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar JKPS while performing patrolling duty in its jurisdictional area, has seized 02 vehicles ( Tractor Trolleys bearing Reg. No.s Jk08P-8093 & JK08P-5175 ) indulged in illegal mining / transportation of construction material without any legal permission.
The above mentioned 02 vehicles( 02 Tractor Trolleys) have been seized by @Kathua Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Kathua for further legal action.
