Magnitude 6.2 earthquake strikes China: At least 111 people killed and over 230 injured
At least 111 people killed and over 230 others injured as magnitude 6.2 earthquake measuring 6.2 on the Richter scale struck China, state media reported on Tuesday. The quake struck Jishishan county in Gansu province. It damaged houses and roads, and knocked out power and communication lines, reports said.
