Samba, Jammu & Kashmir: Manoj Sinha inaugurated a new industrial unit of Eveready Industries India Limited in Samba district, marking a significant step toward industrial growth in the region.Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor highlighted that the plant, established with an investment of ₹200 crore, is expected to generate substantial employment opportunities for local residents. He emphasized that the unit will not only create direct jobs but also boost ancillary industries, benefiting women and youth in particular.
Narendra Modi’s vision for a prosperous Jammu & Kashmir was also acknowledged, with LG Sinha stating that the improved industrial environment in the Union Territory reflects sustained developmental efforts under his leadership.
He added that such investments are playing a crucial role in accelerating economic growth and transforming Jammu & Kashmir into a hub of opportunity and progress.
