PHE Department executive desilting, cleanliness of water reservoirs in District Kishtwar
KISHTWAR, MARCH 16: To ensure that the hygienic and clean drinking water is made available to all the households of the district Kishtwar for the health and safety of the people, the Public Health and Engineering Department, Kishtwar carried out the desilting and cleanliness drive of all the water reservoirs across the district Kishtwar. On the directions of the District Development Commissioner Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav, the PHE Department Kishtwar under the close supervision of Executive Engineer PHE Sunil Kumar Sharma and by involving the field functionaries of respective areas have started the drive and so far about 25 water reservoirs have been desilted and cleaned through proper treatments besides left out reservoirs will be cleaned soon. The PHE authorities informed that all the reservoirs will be desilted by 24th of this month so that the availability of clean and hygienic tap water is ensured to people. The concerned department has been instructed to ensure prompt repair of leakages of the water pipelines at various location.
