New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed deep gratitude after being honoured with the prestigious Medal of the Knesset, describing the recognition as a symbol of the strong and enduring friendship between India and Israel.
“I am deeply honoured to receive the Medal of the Knesset. I accept it with humility and gratitude,” the Prime Minister said in his remarks.
PM Modi emphasized that the honour is not a personal tribute, but a reflection of the growing partnership between the two nations. He stated that the award represents the shared democratic values, mutual respect, and close cooperation that guide India and Israel.
The recognition highlights the strengthening bilateral ties between India and Israel across sectors including defence, technology, agriculture, and innovation. Over the years, both countries have expanded collaboration and deepened strategic engagement.
