SAMBA POLICE ARRESTED 5 HARDENED CRIMINALS INVOLVED IN ATTEMPT TO MURDER & RAPE
133 HARDCORE CRIMINALS ARRESTED IN NINE MONTHS : SSP SAMBA BENAM TOSH
Samba, Oct 13 : Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Police have arrested five (05) hardened criminals involved in attempt to murder, extortion, kidnapping & rape in the jurisdiction of PS Vijaypur, PS Samba and PS Bari Brahmana.
The arrested accused have been identified as Farman of Vijaypur, Hameed, Fareed & Shabir of Bari Brahmana and Abinash of Samba.
While Abinash has been arrested by Samba police from Punjab for kidnapping and rape of minor girl student, Farman, Hameed, Fareed & Shabir have been arrested for murderous attacks and extortion.
Three cases ---- case FIR No.132/2023 u/s 307, 382, 353, 332, 148, 149, 34 IPC, case FIR No.244/2023 u/s 307, 323, 341, 147, 148, 382 IPC and case FIR No.233/2023 U/S 363, 376 IPC, 3/4 POCSO Act have been registered at Police Station Vijaypur, Police Station Bari Brahmana and Police Station Samba respectively.
The accused have been arrested by police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma, SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh and PSI Davinder Singh under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, DySP Garu Ram and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that one hundred thirty three (133) hardcore criminals involved in heinous crimes have been arrested in past nine months in Samba and people have taken a sigh of relief after proactive approach adopted by police.
