SAMBA POLICE ARRESTS HARDCORE MURDER ACCUSED EVADING ARREST SINCE 2022 IN ZAKIR MURDER CASE OF BARI BRAHMANA
168 Hardcore Criminals Arrested In Eleven & Half Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Jan 6 : Samba Police has arrested absconding hardcore accused of Bishnah in Zakir murder case of 2022 registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana.
The arrested accused has been identified as Zakir Hussain alias Jagga s/o Hashim Din r/o Laswara Deoli tehsil Bishnah district Jammu. The accused was wanted in case FIR No. 187/2022 u/s 302, 307, 364, 323, 427, 147, 148, 201 IPC & 4/25 Arms Act of PS Bari Brahmana and police was conducting series of raids to arrest him but he was evading arrest.
On 3rd of October 2022 at 10:40 PM, Zakir Hussain s/o Dhaua r/o Laswara tehsil Bishnah district Jammu while he was on way back home after attending a marriage function at Balole Khad Bari Brahmana was attacked by a group of criminals belonging to the same community and had been brutally murdered. His companion was also seriously injured in the attack by the criminals most of whom belonged to different areas of district Jammu. Police had registered FIR, conducted and completed investigation.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that a total of one hundred sixty eight (168) hardcore criminals involved in murders, attempts to murder and other heinous crimes have been arrested by Samba police in past eleven & half months and stringent legal action is being taken against them.
