SAMBA POLICE SEIZED 9 VEHICLES INCLUDING ONE EXCAVATOR FOR ILLEGAL MINING
200 Vehicles Seized For Illegal Mining In Nine & Half Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Nov 4 : Continuing vigorous drive against illegal mining launched on the directions of SSP Samba Benam Tosh, Police has seized nine (9) more vehicles which were being used for illegal mining in district Samba.
Police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Samba Daljit Singh, SHO Police Station Purmandal Vijay Verma, SHO Police Station Ramgarh Amit Sangra, SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak, SHO Police Station Bari Brahmana Sumit Sharma and SHO Police Station Ghagwal Bharat Bhushan under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Bari Brahmana Rahul Nagar, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary have seized nine (9) more vehicles being used for illegal mining at different locations in Samba district.
The seized vehicles are : One Excavator bearing registration No. JK21H-5700, One Dumper bearing registration No. JK02CT-1842, One Tipper bearing registration No. JK21B-0663, three tractor trolleys with registration No. JK02BX-6486, PB18Q-5910, JK02R-6038 and three tractor trolleys without registration Nos.
Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh said that total two hundred (200) vehicles have been seized in past nine and half months for illegal mining by Samba police after launching special drive against illegal mining. Police would not allow illegal mining in Samba district and would take yet more stringent action against mining mafia in Samba district, if illegal mining not stopped.
