SAMBA POLICE SOLVED VIJAYPUR ROBBERY CASE, ARRESTED TWO ACCUSED; RECOVERED CASH, MOBILE & AUTO

Police taking Prompt Action In Robbery, Decoity & Extortion Cases : SSP Samba Benam Tosh

Samba, August 13 : Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, police has solved Vijaypur robbery case, arrested two accused, recovered extorted cash, costly android mobile phone and auto.

The arrest accused have been identified as Atul Sharma s/o Romesh Lal r/o Khojipur, Bishnah district Jammu and Pankaj Sharma alias Panku s/o Tara Chand r/o Shazadpur, Ramgarh district Samba.

One Ranjit Singh s/o Rajinder Singh r/o Hiranagar, district Kathua had lodged a complaint with Police Station Vijaypur to the effect that two masked miscreants intercepted his auto near 17 Miles in Vijaypur tehsil of district Samba, wrongfully restrained him, attacked him with sharp-edged weapon and robbed him of cash, android mobile phone and auto. Upon this complaint police had registered a case at Police Station Vijaypur and started investigation. Police conducted raids in Ramgarh, arrested the duo and recovered weapon of offence, cash, costly android mobile phone and auto.

The robbery case was solved by SHO Police Station Vijaypur Tribhawan Khajuria, PSI Aabid Abrar under the supervision of SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.

Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh said that police is taking prompt action in robbery, decoity & extortion cases in samba district and leaving no stone unturned to work out cases in time bound manner without inordinate delay.
