In a major breakthrough, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) of Jammu and Kashmir has arrested the main kingpin of a narco-terror module from Mumbai Airport.The accused, identified as Mohd. Arshad, a resident of village Degwar Terwan, Tehsil Haveli, District Poonch, had been absconding since 2023 and was reportedly operating from Saudi Arabia.According to officials, Arshad was apprehended upon his arrival in India and was brought to Jammu, where he was produced before a court today.The SIA had been pursuing the case as part of its efforts to dismantle cross-border networks involved in narcotics smuggling and terror financing. The arrest marks a significant step in the ongoing crackdown against narco-terror elements operating in the Union Territory.
