Tragic Accident on Samba-Mansar Road: Dumper Falls Into Deep Gorge, Young Man Surinder Singh Dies

Samba, April 3: A very tragic road accident took place on Thursday on the Samba-Mansar road near Jamora, in which a young man, Surinder Singh, a resident of Nud Palth, lost his life. According to reports, the dumper being driven by Surinder Singh suddenly went out of control and plunged into a deep gorge along the roadside. The accident was so severe that he died on the spot.

According to local residents, the condition of the Samba-Mansar road has already become extremely poor due to the recent floods. At several places, the road has been badly damaged, its edges have collapsed, and mud and debris are lying scattered along the route. In such circumstances, the movement of heavy vehicles has become increasingly dangerous.

Locals further stated that most dumpers operate on this route during the night, which significantly increases the risk of accidents. The darkness, poor road condition, and constant movement of heavy vehicles make it very difficult for drivers to travel safely.

However, till the time of filing this report, no exact reason behind the accident had been confirmed. It is still unclear whether the mishap occurred due to the poor condition of the road, a technical fault in the vehicle, or some other reason.

As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and, with the help of local residents, started the rescue operation. After considerable effort, the body of the deceased was recovered from the gorge. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the actual cause of the accident.

The incident has left the entire area in mourning. The untimely death of Surinder Singh has caused deep grief to his family and the villagers. Local residents have urged the administration to immediately repair the damaged Samba-Mansar road and to strictly monitor the movement of heavy vehicles during the night, so that such tragic accidents can be prevented in the future.
