
Samba, October 24, 2025: A tribute ceremony was held at Narayan Dwar, Budhwani, Samba, on the occasion of Martyr Colonel Narayan Singh’s Martyrdom Day. A large number of people paid tribute to Martyr Colonel Narayan Singh and remembered his sacrifice.
Martyr Colonel Narayan Singh was born on March 11, 1907, in Mandi Sangwali, Samba. He attained martyrdom while displaying his valor and sacrifice in the 1947 Indo-Pak War. His martyrdom demonstrated his love and dedication for the country.
At the ceremony held on this occasion, people paid tribute to Martyr Colonel Narayan Singh and laid floral tributes on his portrait. Remembering the martyr’s martyrdom, people expressed condolences to his family.
Speakers addressing the ceremony said that the martyrdom of Martyr Colonel Narayan Singh inspires us to protect and serve the country. He said that such events organized in memory of the martyr remind us of his martyrdom and make us realize our responsibilities towards the country.
