Samba, 15 Feb: In a major relief for residents of Sumb–Goran, the long-awaited work on the Sumb–Goran road has finally commenced. The road, which had been in a deteriorated condition for a long time, is now being repaired on a priority basis. Officials have informed that blacktopping of the entire stretch will be carried out soon to ensure smooth and safe travel for commuters.
The development has brought much-needed relief to the people of the area, who had been facing difficulties due to the poor condition of the road. With the work progressing at a steady pace, residents are hopeful of a significantly improved travel experience in the coming days.
Locals have expressed gratitude to the Samba administration for taking up the project and addressing their long-pending demand. Special appreciation has also been extended to Surjit Singh Slathia, whose efforts played a key role in making this project a reality.
