Samba, February 13: A head-on collision between two trucks occurred early this morning at around 7:00 AM near the turn leading to Kehli Mandi in Samba.
According to reports, one truck coming from the Samba side was allegedly moving in the wrong direction, while the other truck was approaching from the Pathankot side. The collision took place at the turn, resulting in a severe impact.
Due to the force of the crash, one of the trucks turned turtle on the road. Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported in the incident. However, both drivers are said to have been careless, which is believed to have led to the accident.
No authority reached the spot to manage traffic and assess the situation till the publishing of the news. The exact cause of the mishap is still unknown
Traffic movement in the area was affected due the incident as this is the approach road to main chowk Samba.
