LG Manoj Sinha Pledges to Develop Purmandal Utterbehni as World-Class Spiritual Tourism Hub: Calls to Honour Sacrifices Behind Aatma-Nirbhar J&K

The Lieutenant Governor paid obeisance at the ancient Shiv Temple at Purmandal and participated in the Devika Maha Aarti during his visit. He described the Purmandal–Utterbehni Teerth Kshetra as a confluence of faith, cultural unity and diversity, and one of the most important spiritual pilgrimage circuits in Jammu and Kashmir.

Commitment to spiritual tourism

Sinha reiterated that the administration is committed to transforming Purmandal–Utterbehni into a world-class spiritual hub for sustainable and culturally rich religious tourism.

He assured that departments concerned would work with a coordinated approach to preserve and promote the religious and cultural heritage of the area, including upgrading connectivity and related facilities.

Aatma-Nirbhar J&K and pledge to honour sacrifices

The Lieutenant Governor said that the edifice of “Aatma-Nirbhar Jammu & Kashmir” is being built on the dedication and sacrifices of police personnel, soldiers, farmers, youth and women.

Urging people to take a pledge not to let their hard work and sacrifices go in vain, he called upon society to collectively resolve to convert their dreams into reality.
