MLA Samba Surjit Singh Slathia inaugurated the upgraded Bar Hall at the District Court Complex Samba

Samba, April 6: MLA Samba Surjit Singh Slathia inaugurated the upgraded Bar Hall at the District Court Complex Samba. The upgraded facility includes a modern pantry, office space, and separate washrooms for ladies and gents for the convenience of advocates and visitors.The inauguration ceremony was convened in the August Presence of Hon’ble Principal District and Sessions Judge Samba Sh Ashwani Kumar Sharma, Additional District Judge Sh. Arvind Sharma, Chief Judicial Magistrate Samba, Secretary DLSA, Add Special Mobile Magistrate, Munsiff, Additional Munsiff, and Munsiff Samba, Advocates /members of the Bar Association Samba

MLA Samba Surjit Singh Slathia had provided Rs 15 lakh to the Bar Association Samba for the upgradation of the Bar Hall and creation of additional facilities which is inagurated today on 6 April.

Speaking on the occasion, President Bar Association Samba Sh Ajay Singh Charak expressed gratitude to the MLA for extending support towards improving the infrastructure at the District Court Complex for the welfare of Bar members.

Advocate Ganesh Sharma and Adv Subash Singh Sambyal, feeling thankful, also raised the demand for construction of additional chambers for advocates and boundary wall and gatebfir the court complex.

Responding to the demand, MLA Surjit Singh Slathia assured the Bar Association of his full support and cooperation for the cause and said that every possible effort would be made to address the genuine requirements of the legal fraternity.The advocates appreciated the initiative and said that the upgraded facilities would greatly benefit the functioning of the Bar and provide a better working environment in the District Court Complex Samba. In this programme Adv Sandeep Sharma (Sandy) was also felicitated by MLA Samba for his winning 2 golds & 1 silver in Athletics meet of the Advocates in Jammu.

The proceedings of the programme was conducted by Advocate Hitesh Sharma General Secretary of the Bar, who heartily remain thankful to the Executing agencies, The PWD department, their senior and junior officials, the contractor, labourers who work tirelessly and all other concerned thereto.
