RAMGARH : MLA Ramgarh and Former Minister for Health & Medical Education, Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, highlighted today that the ongoing development works across the Ramgarh Constituency are a direct reflection of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s transformative reforms, which continue to accelerate rural progress, strengthen connectivity, and improve public amenities.
As part of these initiatives, Dr. Manyal inaugurated and kick-started several key works focused on road improvement and village infrastructure. These include the upgradation and blacktopping of rural roads under PMGSY, taken up at an estimated cost of ₹42 lakh, to ensure smooth mobility for residents in the International Border Area. Additionally, multiple civic works were initiated, including lane work in Village Abtal (₹3 lakh) and drain work in Village Dug (₹3.50 lakh), aimed at enhancing drainage facilities and improving local accessibility.
A major highlight of the day was the inauguration of a newly constructed Steel Truss Shed along with tile work, developed at an estimated cost of ₹6 lakh, providing a durable and weather-resistant public space for community gatherings. Further strengthening village infrastructure, Dr. Manyal also kick-started the construction of a Community Hall at Village Trindi, to be developed at an estimated cost of ₹30 lakh, which will significantly support social and cultural activities for local residents.
Dr. Manyal reiterated that these development works address long-standing public demands and reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring that every village in the Ramgarh Constituency receives its rightful share of development. He emphasized that improved infrastructure remains central to raising the standard of living and promoting inclusive growth at the grassroots level. He added that all these development works, amounting to a combined estimate of ₹84.50 lakh, reflect Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji’s vision of transforming rural India through sustainable and impactful development.
Those present on the occasion included DDC Member Ramgarh Anita Choudhary, OBC Morcha District President Harvinder Singh, President Ramgarh Nancy Choudhary, Former BDC Chairman Darshan Singh, Former Vice Chairman Municipal Committee Ramgarh Anil Gupta, Former Sarpanchs Prem Paul Choudhary and Tijinder Singh, along with senior party workers and local residents, who expressed gratitude for the continuous development initiatives in the area.
