
Samba: October 29,2025: As a part of celebration of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, popularly known as the “Iron Man of India”, Samba Police organized events across the district at Police Stations level to highlight his legacy and inspire unity among citizens.
Police Station Vijaypur: A symposium on the topic “Achievements of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel” was organized at Govt. Higher Sec. School Vijaypur. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from over 130 students and faculty members. Five students actively took part in the symposium and highlighted the achievements and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the unification of India. The best three speakers were rewarded with mementos and certificates.
Police Station Ramgarh: A lecture on “National Security” was organized at village Keso Manhashan which was delivered by retried District and Sessions Judge Sh. Subash Chander Gupta. Students of Govt. High School Manhashan, AMP School and local prominent citizens saw the participation in the said programme.
Police Station Ghagwal: A symposium on “Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel-unsung architect of Modern India” was organized at Govt. Model Higher Sec. School Ghagwal which was attended by more than 120 students and faculty members. Four students actively took part in the symposium and highlighted the achievements and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the unification of India. Police officers also throw light on the life and significant contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in building nation. All the speaker students were suitably rewarded at the conclusion of the programme.
Police Station Samba: A debate competition on the topic “Role of Youth in National Integration and Indian Constitution” was organized at National High School Samba which was attended by more than 120 students and faculty members. Six students actively participated in said debate competition. Police Officers also highlighted the importance of youth in strengthening national unity and upholding constitutional values.
Police Station Bari Brahmana: A symposium on “The life, vision and inspiration of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel” was organized at Govt. Higher Sec. School Smailpur which was attended by approximately 200 students and faculty members. Ten students actively took part in the symposium and highlighted the achievements and contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in the unification of India. The best three speaker students were suitably rewarded on the occasion.
Police Station Purmandal: A debate competition on the topic “Building a Progressive and United India” was organized at Govt. Higher Sec. School Purmandal which was attended by more than 150 students and faculty members. Eight students participated with great enthusiasm in said debate competition and were suitably rewarded.
