Police Commemoration Day Observed with Great Enthusiasm at Police Lines Samba

Police Commemoration Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence at Police Lines Samba today. The event honored the supreme sacrifices of police personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty while upholding peace and security in the nation.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba, Virender Manhas, led the ceremony, which was attended by officials from the District Administration, people’s representatives police officers, and dignitaries from various walks of life. Floral tributes were paid at the martyrs’ memorial as a mark of respect to the brave hearts.

Speaking on the occasion, SSP Manhas highlighted the invaluable contributions and sacrifices made by the police force in safeguarding the lives and property of citizens. He reiterated the department’s commitment to maintaining law and order and serving the public with dedication and integrity.

The commemoration concluded with a solemn parade in memory of the fallen heroes, reflecting the deep sense of pride and gratitude felt by the entire police fraternity and community members present. The family members of martyrs were also felicitated on this occasion.
