Samba: February 20, 2026: Samba police has apprehended a Child in Conflict with Law (CCL) in a case FIR No. 45/2026 registered under relevant sections of POCSO Act at Police Station Samba.
During the course of investigation of said case, a Police team of Police Station Samba after sustained efforts has apprehended the Child in Conflict with Law (CCL).
The minor victim girl was recovered safely by the Police and all legal formalities under the Juvenile Justice Act and POCSO Act have been initiated. The CCL has been produced before the competent authority and sent to Observation Home.
Further investigation of the case is going on.
