Samba, Feb 20 — A two-day Volleyball and Kabaddi tournament was successfully organized in Sumb Block by the Social Welfare Department Samba in collaboration with Samba Police.The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from local teams and drew large crowds of spectators. In the Volleyball final, Paswal team faced Nud team in an exciting match, where Paswal team emerged victorious and lifted the trophy. In the Kabaddi final, Mahanal team competed against Khan team. After a thrilling contest, Mahanal team secured the final victory and claimed the championship title.
The tournament aimed at promoting sportsmanship and encouraging youth participation in positive activities. Local youth leader NC Rajeshwar Singh and his team played a significant role in motivating the players. Choki Incharge Balbir Kumar, Ex-Mandal President BJP Balvinder Singh, Ranjit Singh, and Anil Verma also extended valuable support and contributed greatly to the successful organisation of the event.The initiative was widely appreciated by the local community as a commendable step towards engaging youth in constructive and healthy activities.
