SAMBA POLICE FOILED 2 BOVINE SMUGGLING ATTEMPTS, RESCUED 21 BOVINE ANIMALS
94 Bovine Smuggler Arrested In Past Ten Months : SSP Samba Benam Tosh
Samba, Nov 11 : Under the overall supervision of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba Benam Tosh, Samba police has foiled two bovine smuggling attempts, rescued twenty one bovine animals, arrested notorious bovine smuggler and seized two vehicles.
The arrested notorious bovine smuggler has been identified as Anwar Hussain s/o Malok Singh R/o Katyal RS Pura district Jammu.
Two separate case FIRs---- case FIR No.156/2023 u/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Vijaypur and case FIR No. 106/2023 u/s 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Ghagwal and investigation is underway.
The bovine smuggling attempts have been foiled by police teams comprising of SHO Police Station Ghagwal Bharat Bhushan and SHO Police Station Vijaypur Sandeep Charak under the supervision of DySP Garu Ram, SDPO Vijaypur Rohit Kumar and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary.
On the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh a total of ninety four (94) bovine smugglers have been arrested by Samba Police in past ten months after the launch of special drive, seventy six (76) FIRs have been registered against bovine smugglers, sixty five (65) vehicles used for bovine smuggling have been seized and seven hundred fifty (750) bovine animals have been rescued in Samba district.
