Samba, February 02, 2026: Samba Police has seized ‘Khair’ wooden logs which were illegally cut and stolen from the forest land at village Chunari, Goran falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba.
Acting on information received from reliable sources, a team of Police Post Goran headed by Incharge Police Post Goran SI Balbir Kumar of PS Samba has recovered wooden logs which were illegally cut and stolen from the forest land at village Chunari by some unknown person(s). The police has seized all the ‘Khair’ wooden logs on the spot.
A case FIR No. 30/2026 u/s 302(2) BNS, 26 Indian Forest Act has been registered at Police Station Samba and investigation started.
