Samba: November 09, 2025: Continuing its drive against illegal mining, Samba Police has seized six vehicles including five dumpers in the jurisdiction of Police Stations Samba, Ghagwal and Vijaypur which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material.
Police teams of Police Station Vijaypur, Police Station Ghagwal, Police Post Rajpura of PS Ghagwal, Police Posts Supwal and Goran of PS Samba while performing patrolling duty in their jurisdictional areas, have seized five dumpers bearing registration Nos. JK21C-2988, JK02CT-9433, JK02CK-0835, JK21G-5049
JK08H-3113, and one tractor trolley having registration No. JK21H-3215 which were being used for illegal transportation/mining of the construction material in the area.
The above mentioned vehicles have been seized by Samba Police and handed over to the Geology & Mining Department, Samba for further legal action.
