Samba: MLA Surjit Singh Slathia yesterday kickstarted the macadamization work at Chak Medu (Nankay Chak), fulfilling a long-pending demand of the local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Slathia said that the BJP government is committed to improving road connectivity and upgrading infrastructure in rural as well as urban areas. He added that such developmental works reflect the government’s focus on ensuring better facilities and smooth transport for the people.
Local residents expressed gratitude to the MLA for addressing their demand and initiating the long-awaited road work.
