
Samba, October 2, 2025 – In a vibrant celebration marking the triumph of good over evil, the Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha in Samba organized a solemn Shastra Puja on the auspicious occasion of Vijayadashami today. The event, steeped in tradition, paid homage to weapons such as guns and swords, revered as enduring symbols of Kshatriya pride, honour, and valour.

The ceremony commenced with a sacred Hawan, where participants offered Ahuties into the consecrated fire, invoking blessings from the divine for strength, protection, and righteousness. Community members gathered to honour these instruments of legacy, underscoring their role not just as tools of defence but as embodiments of the warrior ethos that defines the Rajput heritage.
Leading the proceedings was Retd Captain Inder Singh, President of the Amar Kshatriya Rajput Sabha Samba, who emphasized the timeless significance of the ritual. “On this day of victory, we recommit to the principles of courage and dharma that our ancestors upheld,” he remarked. Joining him were key office-bearers and esteemed members, including General Secretary Karn Singh, Anirudhan Singh, Retd Principal Rayor Singh, Mohinder Singh, Amardeep Singh, Ashwani Sambyal alias Ashu, Sugreev Singh, Adv Rahul Sambyal, Premnandan Singh and Ajatshatru Singh. A host of other community members also attended, fostering a sense of unity and shared reverence.
