Sponsorship and Foster Care Approval Committee meet held in Rajouri
RAJOURI, MARCH 16: Deputy Commissioner Rajouri Vikas Kundal today chaired the Sponsorship and Foster Care Approval Committee (SFCAC) meeting.
The objective of the meeting was to discuss the cases for children in need of assistance. The DSWO informed that there are 58 cases of children in need of assistance. The committee discussed individual cases and the DC asked to forward the cases to the Child Welfare Committee for further evaluation and approval.
Once approved, the children will be provided appropriate assistance as per government norms. The committee also keeps track of the progress of the approved cases and reports any anomalies that may occur during the proceedings.
In addition to this, members of the committee also act as mentors in order to support the children in achieving a better life.
The meeting was attended by PO ICDS, Shoket Mehmood Malik; CPO, Mohammad Khurshid; DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt and other concerned officers.
