SSP SAMBA CONDUCTS EXTENSIVE TOUR OF RAMGARH SECTOR; REVIEWS SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS OF BORDER AREAS

Samba: April 19, 2026: The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Samba Sh. Anuj Kumar, IPS conducted a comprehensive tour of the Ramgarh Sector to review security and policing measures in border areas.

During the visit, the SSP inspected Police Station Ramgarh, where a detailed review of ongoing investigations and crime control measures was undertaken. The SSP emphasized the importance of prompt response, professional conduct and community-oriented policing to enhance public trust.The SSP directed officers to maintain proper surveillance over criminal elements and take all necessary steps to curb the activities of criminals, particularly organized crime groups and gangsters, so as to ensure that the general public feels safe and secure.

As part of visit, the SSP inspected Border Nakas, Border Police Posts such as Koulpur & Kamore and interacted with police personnel, directing them to stay vigilant while performing their duties.

The tour also included visits to Border Security Force (BSF) outposts including BoP Tanwar situated along the International Border. Interacting with the personnel, the SSP encouraged them to remain motivated and committed to their duties. The SSP stressed for operational coordination with sister agencies and effective area domination.

SSP Samba underscored the importance reinforcement of Border Nakas, joint Nakas & area domination with Army/CAPF and the positioning of QRTs at strategic locations round the clock.

Furthermore, SSP Samba instructed the intensification of patrolling/surveillance along potential infiltration routes and the establishment of random night nakas/ambushes at vulnerable locations.

The visit underscores the proactive approach of Samba Police in maintaining peace, preventing cross-border threats, and ensuring the safety and security of the border area.
