Samba: April 20, 2026: As part of ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu and Kashmir Abhiyan, Samba Police today organized anti-drug awareness programmes at Govt. Degree College Vijaypur and Govt. Degree College Ramgarh which witnessed enthusiastic participation from large numbers of students, teaching faculty and other members of the college management.
The events conducted under Nasha Mukt Abhiyan by Samba Police in which Police Officers delivered informative lectures highlighting the physical, mental, and social consequences of substance abuse.
During the sessions, the officers reiterated that Samba Police is committed to eradicating the drug menace from the district by taking strict legal action against drug smugglers and suppliers. Students were encouraged to stay away from drugs and focus on their academic and personal development.
The initiative of J&K Police in raising awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse was widely appreciated by the college management and all the attendees.
