Bulldozer Action Against Illegal Properties Worth Crores: Houses of 3 Major Drug Peddlers Demolished in Kathua

Kathua, May 11: In a major crackdown under the “Drug-Free Campaign” in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district, the district administration along with the police demolished the houses of three alleged drug peddlers in the Kore Punnu area of Rajbagh on Sunday. Authorities stated that the structures had been illegally built on government land.

The action was carried out against notorious drug traffickers Liaqat Ali alias “Liaqatu”, Gaggu Din, and Sham Din, sons of Sharif Mohammad, residents of Kore Punnu, Tehsil Marheen, District Kathua.

According to police records, a total of 16 FIRs related to drug trafficking and other criminal activities have been registered against the accused. The demolished properties are reportedly worth crores of rupees.

Officials said the administration will continue taking strict action against those involved in the narcotics trade and reiterated its commitment to strengthening the “Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir” campaign.
