Samba, Jammu & Kashmir: December 17, 2025
A major high-tech cheating racket was busted in the Ghagwal area of Samba district during the ongoing online recruitment examination for Constable posts in Delhi Police, conducted by the Staff Selection Commission (SSC).
According to reports, scammers allegedly employed sophisticated methods, including underground wiring and remote access technology, to hack into the examination system and leak question papers in real-time. The fraudsters had rented a room near an examination center in Ghagwal to carry out the operation.
Police acted on a tip-off after hearing suspicious activity from the rented premises. However, upon arrival, the accused managed to flee the scene, escaping capture.
The incident has raised serious concerns about the security of online examinations, especially amid the SSC Delhi Police Constable 2025 recruitment drive, which is underway with computer-based tests scheduled across multiple shifts in December 2025 and January 2026.
Authorities are investigating the matter, and further details are awaited as the search for the fleeing scammers continues.
This case highlights growing challenges in preventing tech-enabled malpractices in high-stakes government recruitment exams.
